JSP has teamed up with Polygiene® in an ongoing partnership to enhance the hygiene and sustainability of reusable personal protective equipment (PPE). This collaboration supports both companies’ missions to reduce environmental impact and promote longer-lasting protective solutions.
Polygiene® StayFresh™ technology is now used in JSP’s HardCap AeroLite® bump caps. This advanced treatment prevents the growth of odour-causing bacteria and significantly extends the usable life of sweatbands and cushion pads. As a result, the need for frequent washing is reduced, lowering water usage and extending the product's lifecycle.
The HardCap AeroLite® is the first bump cap of its kind to incorporate this durable technology. It is currently the lightest full-shell bump cap on the market and delivers high performance while contributing to waste reduction through its long-lasting design.
This partnership plays a key role in helping JSP reach its sustainability goals, including achieving ISO 14001 environmental accreditation and becoming net zero by 2035. By integrating Polygiene® technology into their products, JSP aims to reduce unnecessary product waste and improve resource efficiency across their manufacturing process.
