Ear defenders can be wiped clean with a soft cloth moistened with warm, soapy water, as well as with a JSP cleaning wipe or similar anti-bacterial wipe. Abrasive cleaners should not be used.

Some ear defender parts are replaceable, helping to maximise product life by replacing specific components instead of replacing the entire product.

Ear defenders should be inspected regularly to ensure that the cups and headband are not cracked or split; in the event that the cups or headband are split the complete product should be replaced.
