There are a number of options available to wear prescription lenses in conjunction with eye and face protection. Faceshields will fit comfortably and safely with the glasses, and over spectacles can also be worn over the prescription spectacles.
To wear prescription eyewear in conjunction with goggles, you can use an RX insert. The insert fits inside the goggle meaning there are no spectacle arms to interfere with the seal. Simply purchase an RX insert kit and take to the optician to be glazed, then fit into compatible eye protector.
Lenses can be produced to provide visual correction and protective properties in one lens. The Swiss One Eyemax™ safety spectacle is available with 5 levels of corrective lens, while the EVO®100, EVO®200, & EVO®300 spectacles allow the customer to specify the prescription for their lens. Maxview™ and Matrix™ spectacles also fit an RX insert.
